CARE GUIDE

Avoid wearing your jewellery when bathing, showering or swimming as liquid minerals and chemicals, can permanently damage the plating.

 CARING FOR YOUR BOOM JEWELLERY

Before putting on any jewellery take care that any lotions or perfumes are completely absorbed into your skin.
Apply all hair products, especially hair spray, before putting on the jewellery.
We advise removing any hand jewellery before washing or moisturising your hands soaps, lotions and creams may react with plating, causing discolouration and tarnishing of the rose gold layer.
Avoid wearing jewellery when using harsh household chemicals as this may cause discolouration or tarnishing to your jewellery.

CLEANING YOUR ROSE GOLD JEWELLERY
18 carat rose gold plated jewellery

To preserve the shine and glow of your rose gold-plated Jewellery dust the jewellery with a soft damp cotton cloth.
Do not use any specialist silver cloths, as the surface would be too harsh for cleaning gold plating and may cause permanent damage.
Dry thoroughly before putting your jewellery away, as moisture may affect the plating.

CLEANING YOUR SILVER JEWELLERY

925 sterling silver
To brighten up your 925 sterling silver pieces use soapy water and a soft polishing cloth.
Rinse and dry thoroughly before putting your jewellery back in a jewellery box, as moisture and left over glycerin particles may cause tarnishing.
Only use specialist cleaning cloths to polish your sterling silver. Do not use paper-towels or tissues as, despite silver being slightly harder metal than gold, it may still scratch.
